day. These range from membership services questions to inquires
about joining PTR. The following is a list of the staff
at International Headquarters and their primary responsibilities.

Dan
Santorum is the CEO and Executive Director of PTR. In
addition to his administrative and financial duties, Dan
represents the organization at industry conventions, trade
shows, tennis teacher conferences and tennis teacher workshops.
Dan has conducted 344 PTR workshops on six continents in
43 countries and 164 cities. In 1999, he became the first,
and only, person ever to conduct tennis coaches workshops
in all 50 U.S. States, as well as the U.S. Territories of
Guam, Puerto Rico and U.S. Virgin Islands. Under his tenure,
PTR has more than quadrupled in size - from an organization
of 2,500 members in 68 countries - to an organization with
more than 12,000 members in 123 countries. Dan serves on
several USTA committees. He also sits on several boards
in the tennis industry including the International Tennis
Hall of Fame, National Public Parks Tennis Association,
South Carolina Tennis Association, South Carolina Tennis
Patrons Foundation and Tennis Industry Association. In 2000,
Dan was selected as the USA Captain of the inaugural Tony
Trabert Cup, an international competition for men 40+ years
of age. Dan has been with PTR since 1986. He has a B.S.
in Business Management from University of Florida. |

Julie
Jilly, Vice President of Operations, is responsible
for coordinating special events such as PTR WEEK, supervising
PTR's staff and managing the many benefits available to
PTR members. Julie was recently selected as a member of
HEAD's Team Airflow. With a passion for wheelchair tennis
and Special Olympics, Julie annually serves as Tournament
Director for both the $17,500 PTR/ROHO Championships and
the Special Olympics Tennis Championships. In 2006, PTR
received a National Award for Adaptive Tennis. In 2005,
Julie received the USTA Community Service Award for the
Southern Section and received the Special Olympics South
Carolina's Super Hero Award. In 2004, she was recognized
by RSI Magazine as the Wheelchair Tennis Champion of the
Year. As Secretary for PTR Foundation, she administrates
the grant program. Julie has been with PTR since 1985 and
has a B.S. in Public Relations from Florida State University. |

Iñaki
Balzola is PTR's International
Director, responsible for coordinating the International
Department of PTR. Iñaki's has traveled to more than
40 countries to teach PTR Workshops and to represent the
organization in many International conferences and symposia.
Born in Milan, Italy, Iñaki is able to converse with
our members in Italian, English, Spanish, French and Portuguese.
Iñaki is the Coordinator of ACE, PTR's multicultural
participation program. Iñaki has been with PTR since
1994 and has a B.S. in International Marketing from Western
Carolina University. |

Any
member who has purchased PTR merchandise knows Helma
Cap, our Merchandise Director. She is the person to
call if you have any questions regarding the items we sell.
She speaks English, Dutch and a bit of German. In addition,
Helma is responsible for all accounts receivable. Helma
has been with PTR since its inception in 1976, is a National
Tester and former Clinician. She has an Associate Degree
in Business from the College of Boca Raton and is currently
studying business at the University of South Carolina.

Our
Communications Director is Peggy
Edwards. Prior to joining the PTR in 1998, Peggy spent
more than 10 years as Vice President of Marketing for a
company whose focus was professional team sports. Peggy
is responsible for TennisPro magazine and the annual PTR
Membership Handbook. She also writes and disseminates information
to the media and is in charge of advertising and promotional
materials for PTR. Peggy went to the University of Southern
California. |

Amanda
Mitchell, who joined the PTR staff in 2002, is the US
Workshop Director, Database Administrator and Website Manager.
Amanda is responsible for coordinating all US workshops.
She is also responsible for the management of the organization's
database. Recently, Amanda took on a new responsibility
- managing, designing and updating PTR's website. Prior
to her foray into tennis, Amanda worked as a Customer Service
Representative for Terry Precision Cycling for Women in
Rochester, New York. The Slippery Rock University graduate
with a BS in Sport Management, at one time served as the
General Manager of the Newark Raptors, a member of the New
York Collegiate Baseball League.

In 2005, Tonya R. Tobe joined the PTR Headquarters staff as the US Membership Coordinator.
Tonya is responsible for coordinating liability coverage
for PTR members and acts as liaison between our members
and Coastal Plains Insurance. She also coordinates the Trade
Show held during our International Tennis Symposium. Prior
to moving to South Carolina, Tonya managed an orthopedic
oncology department at the Washington Hospital Center/Cancer
Institute in Washington, DC, and coordinated the department's
residency program.

In addition
to our full-time staffers, PTR employs hard working
part-timers who use their talents and expertise to serve you.

Myles
Williams, Director
of Education, oversees the PTR’s education programs,
including the development of new supplements and manuals.
He is also responsible for workshop and testing content
and materials. His background includes many years as a
Tennis Director, as well as a former Program Director
for the Tennis Club Management Program at the Technical
College of the Lowcountry. Myles resides in Columbia,
South Carolina, where he has a home office, and teaches
psychology at Central Carolina Technical College in Sumter.
He is a graduate of the University of Florida (1978) and
holds a MS degree from Kansas State University (1982).

Dr.
Louie Cap travels the globe conducting International
PTR Day events, certification workshops & PTR testing.
Louie also troubleshoots
any computer issues that may arise. Louie has a Ph.D.
in Nuclear Physics from Baylor University, is a Senior
Head Professional at the Van der Meer Tennis Center, a
PTR Master Professional, a PTR National Tester and a PTR
International Clinician.

Angie
van Zuylen joined PTR in 1998 as the Graphic Design Director.
She has a Master of Fine Arts from Savannah College of Art
& Design and received Little Rock, Arkansas' Professor
of the Year while teaching graphic design. Angie is responsible
for the look of TennisPro Magazine. She also designs
the International Tennis Symposium Program and creates advertising
layouts. |

Anne
Krupp, Special Projects, travels to Hilton Head Island
from her native Ohio to work with PTR on the Symposium,
Special Olympics and Wheelchair events. She has been a
certified PTR member since 1991, and in 1999 earned the
PTR/USTA Service Award and the USTA Midwest¹s Stanley
Malless Award. In 2005, Anne was presented with the national
Eve Kraft Award and in 2006 earned USTA Midwest¹s
highest honor, the Mel Bergman Award. That year, even
her hometown of Fostoria named her its Community Hero.
She was selected to serve as the 2007 Assistant Coach
of the Special Olympics National Team and will accompany
the team to the World Games in Beijing. In addition, Anne
has been a USTA Official for 20 years, and has officiated
at the numerous tournaments, including the 1999 (Raleigh-Durham)
and 2003 (Dublin) World Games.
