PTR/ROHO $14,000 Wheelchair Championships

The ROHO Group and PTR would like to extend this invitation for you to participate in the PTR/ROHO Championships, September 9-13th, part of the NEC Wheelchair Tennis Tour. This event is one of the most enjoyable tournaments of the year --- with the ambiance of beautiful Hilton Head Island! Click here to enter!

Play will take place at Chaplin Park Public Tennis Center. These 6 lighted courts are in our public park with playground, dog park, fields and beach access so your guests can enjoy the park while you play. (on Highway 278 about 4 miles from Shipyard entrance.) The Men's B & C divisions are scheduled to play early rounds at the Evian Courts in Shipyard Plantation (pristine courts by the lake). The Quads will play at the Chaplin Park Courts in the mornings & evenings.

You'll enjoy the Quickie Welcome Reception on Wednesday evening. We'll host the memorable ROHO Awards Banquet on Friday evening to honor our Player of the Year and Sportsmanship winners. Saturday evening is the Beach Party at the Holiday Inn Oceanfront deck during the sunset. There is also special beach matting so you can enjoy a roll along the hard packed sand of our beautiful beach.

Some divisions are scheduled to begin play on Wednesday, Sept. 9th in the morning including the Quads, Men's Open, Men's B and C divisions. Play for the Women's Open and Men's A traditionally have smaller draws and will begin on Thurs morning. (Men's Open Draw will be made Tuesday at 5pm and Women's Open Draw Wed. at 5pm) If you arrive early, Tuesday evening PTR pros will offer a free hitting or drilling session, whatever you prefer from 5 – 6:30pm.

We will not have Senior Doubles this year but we will have a Run/Roll tournament with $100 prize money in the Open/A and B/C divisions. You can play with a spouse, coach or guest. We can also provide a partner for you.

The tournament will feature a Players' Drill Session, the Quickie Welcome Reception and Cookout, Run/Roll Tournament, a Beach Side Party, and the ROHO Awards Banquet. Player amenities also include access to a trainer from Island Physical Therapy, a Quickie Repair Tent, complimentary lunches and local airport transportation. For coaches and guests we offer a tournament pass. This will include all of the above as well.
