FL - Sunrise Kids Development Workshop

with Ruben Neyens
How to Build a Strong Starting Point and Rally Skills for Young Kids

A lot of kids (Red and Orange) have problems with starting-the-point skills, because they are underdeveloped, and therefore, don’t like the serve and return. To develop skillful players, we have to start developing the starting-the-point skills at an early age and practice them enough during a season. This session will provide coaches with many practical ideas on how to develop technical and tactical skills to enable young players to rally effectively. The goal of this session is to improve players in squad-based sessions using learning tools and different progressions. This session will cover all stages (or progressions) from complete beginners to advanced Red court players.
